Environmental Economics

The European Union offers many opportunities to access funds to be used in various sectors such as agriculture, environment, technology, education and training, etc..

In particular I intend to focus on funds for the environment and especially on LIFE PLUS.

This is a financial instrument for the environment whose main objective is to provide specific support at Community level, measures and projects with added value for implementing 's upgrade and development of policy and legislation Environment.

LIFE PLUS is divided into three thematic areas:

LIFE + Nature and Biodiversity ': g them objectives are:

1. Spread the legislation on nature and biodiversity;
2. Supporting small instruments for policy monitoring of nature and biodiversity and the factors that impact on these;
3. Promote better governance environment

LIFE + Environment Policy and Governance: g them objectives are:

1. Develop new methods, technologies, innovative environmental policy instruments
2. Support the design and implementation of methodologies for monitoring and evaluating the status of the environment;
3. Facilitate the implementation of EU environmental policy especially at local and regional

LIFE + Information and communication: the objectives are:

1. Disseminate information and raise awareness on environmental issues;
2. Support actions of information, communications campaigns, conferences and training.

These funds are little exploited as yet do not have adequate knowledge and information.
